DRAWING TECHNIQUES
BY Skylar
This is my study of Burne Hogarth’s Dynamic Figure Drawing. Burner Hogarth was a large influence on my art style during my time at the Art Institute of Dallas. His unique look at the human figure was extremely original and very complex. He will always be considered a legend in human figure drawing and teaching.
Hogarth is a great artist to study for his extreme muscle tones and various poses that go beyond the obvious. He teaches you see things more aggressive and let the imagination of going beyond the limit and still be proportionally correct.
With art classes from the beginner to the advanced pro, I will share my techniques and training thru a lifetime of learning.
Please keep reading and see for yourself if my classes can offer you the opportunity to enhance your artwork with industry standard techniques and guidance in simple 1.5-hour classes. Each class level will build on the one before allowing you to continue applying levels of techniques.

Advanced those basic shapes from Class 1 and create form and continue to build from there! Experiment with different pencil tones. Start with your H-2H for underdrawings and start your shading gradually with HB-3B and all the way up to 10B! Now we can draw everyday objects sketched from the under drawing of simple shapes.
